Protecno has recently been awarded an important contract for the wastewater reuse for “Water Service Corporation,” the Governmental Authority for water distribution of the Republic of Malta.
Scope of the same is the supply of nine plants of ultra-filtration and reverse osmosis, that will allow to recover almost all of the treated water from existing treatment plants to be re-used for irrigation, industrial purposes and/or for groundwater recharge.
The tender being international, the contract was awarded after a special committee evaluated Protecno’s offer as the most technologically advanced and most cost-effective.
Delivery will be completed by January 2015.
